MoniePlan is a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means you can install it directly from your browser — no App Store download required. Once installed, it works just like a regular app: it has its own icon on your home screen, opens in full screen, and works offline.

Here's how to set it up on your iPhone.

Step 1: Open MoniePlan in Safari

Open Safari on your iPhone and go to monieplan.com. This only works in Safari — Chrome and other browsers on iOS don't support installing web apps.

Step 2: Tap the Share button

Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen — it's the square with an upward arrow.

Step 3: Tap "Add to Home Screen"

Scroll down in the share menu and tap "Add to Home Screen". If you don't see it, scroll further — it's sometimes hidden below the fold.

Step 4: Confirm the name and tap "Add"

You'll see a preview with the app name "MoniePlan". You can keep the name as-is or change it. Tap "Add" in the top-right corner.

That's it

MoniePlan is now on your home screen. Tap the icon to open it — it'll launch in full screen, just like a native app.

Troubleshooting

"Add to Home Screen" is missing? Make sure you're using Safari. Other browsers on iOS (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) don't support PWA installation.

Notifications aren't working? Push notifications require iOS 16.4 or later. Go to Settings > General > About and check your iOS version. After installing, open the app and enable notifications when prompted.

The app feels outdated? MoniePlan updates automatically. If it seems stuck, close the app completely (swipe up from the app switcher), then reopen it.
